Presented in racy “Podium Green” packaging, the limited-edition expression is available this January for $899 per bottle.
Glenfiddich and the Aston Martin Formula 1 Team have expanded their high-octane partnership with the debut of the Glenfiddich 28 Year Old, a sophisticated single malt Scotch that’s designed to evoke the power and speed of the luxury British automaker.
The exceptional expression follows earlier collaborative bottles—including a rare 65-year-old Scotch launched at the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix in honor of Aston Martin’s 1959 Le Mans victory and a 16-year-old expression introduced at the Miami Grand Prix that was co-created by Malt Master Brian Kinsman and Aston Martin Technical Managing Director Adrian Newey.

The roots of this luxury lifestyle alliance trace back to November 2024, when Glenfiddich and Aston Martin launched their multi-year global partnership with a theatrical reveal at the Las Vegas Grand Prix. Since that initial collaboration—which featured a dramatic race car and Scotch dual unveiling in the Nevada desert followed by an exclusive candlelit dinner—the partnership has evolved into worldwide trackside takeovers, glitzy race-week showcases, and collectible releases.

Crafted through a meticulous cask-influencing strategy, the latest Scotch collab combines spirits aged in American oak, virgin American oak, and sherry-seasoned European Oak “to deliver a rich, layered profile of orchard fruits, deep spice, and vanilla sweetness,” according to Glenfiddich.
Highlighting a shared brand philosophy of “perpetual motion,” Kinsman said in a brand statement: “For Glenfiddich 28 Year Old, I wanted to bring Glenfiddich and Aston Martin’s philosophy of perpetual motion to life. Working with highly active casks gave me the opportunity to explore how different layers of oak influence could come together, while preserving the vibrant fruit notes synonymous with Glenfiddich.”
The multi-year union between the famed Scotch distillery and the British marque aims to bridge the worlds of fine spirits and F1 racing through trackside hospitality, rare viewings, and immersive race-week showcases. Planned activations surrounding upcoming events—including private celebrations at this month’s Las Vegas Grand Prix—continue to drive the partnership of elite motorsport and high-end whisky.

Housed in a flashy presentation box that’s finished in Aston Martin’s signature Podium Green with copper accents and the familiar stag logo, the Glenfiddich & Aston Martin Glenfiddich 28 Year Old will be available nationwide at select retailers beginning in January, with a suggested retail price of $899.
