Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss attended the Kansas City Chiefs-New York Jets game at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, marking their first public appearance together in years.
Cameras caught the model and the “Life of a Showgirl” singer sitting in a box at the Kansas City stadium, accompanied by Swift’s mom, Andrea, and dad, Scott. Travis Kelce’s mom, Donna, also appeared to be sitting behind them, among other onlookers wearing Chiefs apparel.
Swift is no stranger to Chiefs games, but this sighting is sure to delight die-hard Swifties given the two stars’ long-time friendship. Before Sunday, Swift and Kloss hadn’t been spotted together in years, though Kloss attended Swift and Kelce’s nuptials earlier this year with her husband, Joshua Kushner. The high-profile couple tied the knot on July 3 in a star-studded ceremony at Madison Square Garden, with a guest list that was also reported to include Ed Sheeran, Bradley Cooper, Zoë Kravitz, Jack Antonoff, Gigi Hadid, Dakota Johnson, Ethan Hawke, MGK, Jason Sudeikis, Hugh Grant and Camila Cabello, among a slew of other A-listers.
Swift and Kloss first met in the early 2010s, and quickly became close friends (their relationship even inspired a 2015 Vogue cover titled “On the Road with Best Friends Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss”). Kloss appeared in Swift’s “Bad Blood” music video that same year and was a core member of the musician’s “1989” “girl squad,” which regularly attended concerts and events together.
In September, Swift attended the Chiefs’ first game of the season, during which she made headlines for sitting next to Tom Cruise. “She was schooling me on football. For real,” Cruise told Jimmy Fallon during an appearance on “The Tonight Show” following the outing.
Kelce is the Chiefs’ tight end and has won Super Bowls LIV, LVII, and LVIII with the team. Back in 2024, Kelce and Swift shared a much-snapped kiss on the field after the team’s third Super Bowl win.
