MURCIA. Veolia has reached a milestone in the strategic transformation of its portfolio of activities, in order to reorient the Group towards high-growth, international and innovation-driven activities, while strengthening its growth profile and value creation, according to company sources.

With 570 million divestitures signed since the beginning of 2026, within the framework of its commitment of more than 2 billion euros announced in November 2025, Veolia is moving faster than expected and exceeding expectations in terms of valuation, reflecting the quality of its assets and its strong ability to execute. The Group plans to complete the program by mid-2028.

Veolia maintains the momentum of the more than €8 billion of asset turnover realized since the launch of GreenUp. This transformation of the portfolio will contribute to the strengthening of the Group, both in terms of growth and profitability. Includes acquisitions focused primarily on Booster and Technology activities (90%), as well as international markets (80%).

The scope of the divestments covers non-strategic activities, those in which Veolia is not among the three main players in its regional markets, as well as mature businesses that require significant capital investments to achieve greater growth in their results.

The signed divestments affect various activities in Europe and South Korea (see annex) and represent an underlying cumulative enterprise value equivalent to an attractive average valuation multiple of approximately 10.4 times EBITDA.

“The €570 million in signed divestitures, which are ahead of both our schedule and our valuation expectations, mark an important milestone in the transformation of our portfolio. These transactions will further improve the quality of our portfolio, allowing us to accelerate our growth, strengthen our profitability and generate long-term sustainable value creation, with a greater emphasis on technology and innovation. Thanks to this development, we remain fully confident in our ability to complete the divestiture program worth 2 billion euros until mid-2028,” he declared. Estelle BrachlianoffGeneral Director of the Group.
