The organizations demand that it should be increased to Rs 67,000. Similarly, there is a demand to increase the family pension of employees with last basic salary of Rs 1 lakh from Rs 30,000 to Rs 50,000.
How much will pension increase from 2.0 to 2.57 fitment factor?
If 2.0 fitment factor is implemented in the 8th Pay Commission, then the basic pension of ₹25,000 may increase to ₹50,000, pension of ₹50,000 to ₹1 lakh and pension of ₹75,000 to ₹1.50 lakh.
At the same time, at 2.25 fitment factor, this amount can be ₹ 56,250, ₹ 1,12,500 and ₹ 1,68,750 respectively. Whereas, at 2.57 fitment factor, pension of ₹25,000 can reach ₹64,250, pension of ₹50,000 can reach ₹1,28,500 and pension of ₹75,000 can reach ₹1,92,750.
