EVANSVILLE, Wyo. — A vehicle crashed through the Hat Six Travel Center early Sunday morning, damaging the building.
No injuries were reported, according to a social media statement by the travel plaza.
“First and foremost, we are incredibly thankful that everyone is safe and no one was injured,” the store reported. “Our employees are the heart of this business. They show up every day to serve our customers and our community, and knowing they are all safe is what matters most.”
Crews are working to clean up debris and evaluate the damage so the travel plaza can resume operations.
“While the damage is unfortunate, buildings can be repaired and things can be replaced. People cannot,” the business said. “We are already working to assess the damage and begin cleanup as quickly as possible so we can get back to doing what we love — serving our customers and our community.”
The travel center is located east of Casper off Interstate 25 at Hat Six Road.
