ROCHESTER — Two child men received very different sentences in Southeast Minnesota courts Wednesday, Nov. 4.

In Dodge County, Jason Allen Krueth received an 8.3-year (100 months) sentence after pleading guilty to

one of his original nine criminal sexual conduct charges involving a child.

Krueth received credit for 566 days spent in jail since his early 2025 arrest.

He was sentenced to an additional 10 years of probation after his release from prison.

Maurice Michael Crider, 22, pleaded guilty to third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a juvenile age 13-15 and electronic child solicitation after allegedly

impregnating a 14-year-old.

According to court documents, Crider, then 21, told the juvenile he was 16 before the two engaged in sexual conduct. When the teenager told Crider she was pregnant, he told her he was actually 20.

Crider received a 15-year probation sentence. He was also sentenced to the 138 days he already spent at the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center.

Crider also received a stay of imposition, which means that if he completes his probation without issue, the felony crimes could be changed to misdemeanors or gross misdemeanors on his record.

Both men must register as predatory offenders. Crider is required to complete sex offender programming, may not hold a position of authority over minors, and may not frequent places where juveniles congregate, such as parks and malls.

Those experiencing sexual exploitation can call a 24-hour crisis line at 507-289-0636 to speak to someone who can direct you towards help.
