NEW YORK — Nathan Jackson was named the men’s freestyle Outstanding Wrestler, leading a list of 10 champions crowned Saturday evening at the New York Athletic Club and bringing the 2026 Bill Farrell Memorial International to a close.

Jackson was presented his award after earning his second technical fall of the day, securing the gold in the opening 47 seconds against 2025 U17 World bronze medalist Tanner Hodgins. On his way to the 86 kg title, he notched a 10-0 win over Marlio Guzman Ipuz of Colombia and a 5-2 win over 2018 Junior World champion Mekhi Lewis.

Nine Americans won gold in Saturday’s final session, highlighted by technical falls from Grey Burnett, Austin DeSantoJackson and Jay Aiello. Burnett opened the evening with a 13-3 victory over Zane Richards at 57 kg, tying a bow on his first Senior-level event.

DeSanto clinched his latest 61 kg title in the waning seconds of the opening period, shutting out Usman Indirbaev of Russia, 11-0, at 2:58. Aiello secured his 97 kg gold just 16 ticks into the second period against three-time U23 World medalist Jacob Cardenas, securing the 13-2 win after building a nine-point advantage in the opening period.

Taye Ghadiali closed the evening with the third and final shutout of the championship round, blanking Trent Hillger in the 125 kg showdown. After taking a 1-0 lead into the intermission, Ghadiali tacked on four points in the final period to claim his title.

At 70 kg, Edward Scott pulled out an 8-6 win over Melvin Miller, scoring eight unanswered points along the way. Quincy Monday fought off an eight-point rally in the final minute by Michael Caliendo to earn a 14-12 decision and the 74 kg gold.

Zac Braunagel won the 92 kg title with a 2-1 victory over Garavous Kouekabakilaho, marking his second medal in as many days after winning a Greco-Roman bronze medal on Friday.

In the night’s closest title match, Patrick Kennedy beat Carson Kharchla on a 5-5 criteria decision, scoring four points in the final 90 seconds of the 79 kg tilt.

Beau Bartlett earned a silver medal at 65 kg after suffering a 3-1 defeat to Adam Arkhiev of Russia.

Third-place matches were contested before the championship matches, where nine U.S. competitors won bronze medals. A complete list of the 27 American medalists appears below, along with the final results for all men’s freestyle medal matches.
