Gotham Sports App shut down: How to switch to DAZN

DAZN – the world’s leading sports streaming platform – is now the exclusive online home of some of the US’s biggest franchises.

The Gotham Sports app, which formerly streamed the MSG and YES Networks, has been shut down.

DAZN now takes over the local game service.

That means fans need to switch to DAZN to watch the New York Knicks, Yankees, Islanders and Rangers, Brooklyn Nets, New Jersey Devils and Buffalo Sabres.

DAZN streams over 140,000 live events per year in over 200 countries worldwide, so fans are in safe, quality hands for their live game coverage, while DAZN will also offer plenty of on-demand video content, original series, highlights, full game replays and much more.

Best of all, with the DAZN app, fans can not just watch on the move on their phone or tablet, but also on smart TV’s, streaming devices (EG: Fire Sticks), games consoles and web browsers.

What’s happened to the Gotham Sports app?

The Gotham Sports app formerly streamed the MSG Network – carrying games for the Knicks, Rangers, Islanders, Devils and Sabres – and the YES Network – containing the Yankees and Nets.

DAZN has now become the new exclusive streaming home for the two channels, MSG+ and YES, meaning games for the above teams will now only be available online via the DAZN app.

The Gotham Sports app has now been officially closed down and fans need to switch over to use the DAZN app.
