Then why did the shares fall?

share performance

Shares of Titan Company Limited are trading under pressure today, with a decline of about 3.59%. By the time the news was written (12:09pm), this share had fallen by Rs 162.90 to the level of Rs 4,377.10.

What is the opinion of brokerage firm ‘Nomura’?

Despite the fall in Titan’s shares, global brokerage firm Nomura has maintained its confidence in this stock and has given ‘Buy’ rating on the stock. Nomura has set a target price of ₹5,425 for Titan.

According to Nomura, in the coming quarters (Q3, Q4 and Q1), Titan may face a high sales base from last year, due to which revenue growth may look a bit sluggish in percentage terms. At the same time, the slowdown seen in quarter-on-quarter revenue growth due to increased gold prices is natural. But, Nomura estimates that the company can achieve a strong growth of 19% in total sales and 23% in EBIT in FY 2026-27. The brokerage believes that any fall or correction in the stock due to high base and high gold prices could prove to be a great opportunity for long-term investors to accumulate Titan shares.
