The Delaware County Technical High Schools invite students and families to discover educational and career opportunities during upcoming open houses
The Folcroft Campus, 701 Henderson Blvd., open house is Thursday, Nov. 5, and the Aston Campus, 100 Crozerville Road, open house is Tuesday, Nov. 10, and both are 5:30 to 7 p.m.

The open houses provide prospective students and their families with an opportunity to explore DCTS’s career and technical education programs, tour classrooms and labs, meet instructors and learn how hands-on training can prepare students for success in college, careers and beyond.
The schools offer industry-driven programs that combine classroom instruction with real-world experiences. Guided by industry experts and informed by evolving workforce needs, programs provide students with access to modern tools, technology and training while helping them develop valuable technical skills and earn industry-recognized credentials.
“We believe every student deserves the opportunity to discover their passions, develop their talents, and build a pathway to a successful future,” said Dr. Yamil Sanchez, director of Career and Technical Education for Delaware County Technical Schools.
Visitors will have an opportunity to explore career pathways, including at Folcroft, automotive technology, building trades, collision repair tech, cosmetology, emergency and protective services, engineering and robotics, health sciences, logistics and inventory management and medical careers
At Aston Campus: Advertising, design and commercial art; biotechnology and laboratory science; carpentry; computer IT programming and software development; computer networking and cybersecurity; cosmetology; culinary arts; dental occupations; early childhood education; electrical construction technology; exercise therapy and Sports Science; HVAC; medical careers; teacher preparation academy; and welding.
The Open Houses are designed for students who have already identified a career interest as well as those who are beginning to explore their options.
Families will have the opportunity to ask questions, learn about program expectations, and discover how DCTS helps students develop the knowledge, credentials, confidence and experiences needed to pursue their goals.
