After this approval, now Rajasthan government employees will get 63 percent dearness allowance. Let us tell you, this decision will benefit more than 7 lakh government employees and pensioners of more than 5 years.
Bhajan Lal government has also approved Diwali bonus for DA and DR as well as ad-hoc employees. Due to all these decisions, the state government will have to bear an additional burden of Rs 1226 crore.

When will you get increased DA?
State employees will get the benefit of 63 percent DA in their November salary. That means, the effect of this increased DA will be visible in the money credited in the month of December. This DA is of July cycle. The increased DA from July 1 to October will be deposited in the employee’s GPF account.
DA of central employees increased by 5 percent this year
The DA/DR of employees and pensioners is increased twice by the Central Government. There is an increase once from January and second time from July. In the January cycle, the government had increased the DA of employees by 2 percent. After which dearness allowance increased from 58 percent to 60 percent. At the same time, this time there has been an increase of 3 percent. Due to which dearness allowance has reached the level of 63 percent.
