1. Fake wedding card of Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant goes viral: Report of pre-wedding ceremony taking place in Jamnagar, Gujarat, close sources refute the claim.
The news of the marriage of Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s younger son Anant Ambani and his fiancee Radhika Merchant is in the headlines. Meanwhile, their wedding card is going viral on social media. According to the card, their pre-wedding ceremony is going to be held in Jamnagar, Gujarat, which will start from March 1 till March 3. However, a source close to the Ambani family, while talking to Dainik Bhaskar, has termed the news of Anant and Radhika’s marriage as baseless.
A source associated with the Ambani family has told Dainik Bhaskar that there may be some truth in the news of a pre-wedding ceremony being held in Jamnagar, but there is no such plan as of now. There is no such thing as official pre-vending right now. There is talk of finalizing some things in Jamnagar, but nothing has been decided. I think people are spreading rumors based on those things. Nothing is final yet.
2. SEBI will provide facility to freeze trading account: Framework for this will be ready by April 1, will help in stopping suspicious activity
Securities Exchange Board of India i.e. SEBI is going to provide the facility to the investors to freeze or block the trading account as per their wish. Issuing a circular on Friday, SEBI said that a framework will be prepared to provide investors the facility to freeze or block their trading accounts to prevent unauthorized online access.
Brokers Industry Standards Forum (ISF) in consultation with SEBI will prepare a framework for this, which will also include necessary guidelines, on or before April 1, 2024. After this, the stock exchanges will ensure that the guidelines issued under the framework are implemented from July 1, 2024.
3. DMart Q3FY24 Result: Company’s net profit increased by 17% to ₹690.41 crore in the third quarter, revenue increased by 17.3%
Avenue Supermarts, the company that operates retail chain Dmart, has declared the results of the third quarter (Q3FY24-October-December) of the financial year 2023-24. Avenue Supermarts’ consolidated net profit in the third quarter increased by 17.09% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 690.41 crore.
The company had registered a net profit of Rs 589.64 crore in the same quarter last year. The company’s standalone net profit increased by 14.9% in the third quarter. It was Rs 641.07 crore in the same quarter last year.

MG Aster has launched the facelift of its popular compact SUV Aster in India. This car was first introduced in India in 2021 and was the first compact SUV car to come with Personal AI Assistance and Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). Now MG has added more than 49 safety features to the 2024 Astor with 14 Level-2 EDAS features. Like before, the car comes with personal AI assistance.

After the new features and updates, the starting price of the new Astor is Rs 9.98 lakh (ex-showroom, Pan India), which goes up to Rs 17.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Pan India). In India, it competes with Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyrider, Honda Elevate, Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq.

Chinese tech company Realme will launch ‘Realme 12 Pro Series 5G’ this month i.e. in January. The company has given information about the upcoming launch event by teasing the phone on its official website and social media platforms. However, Realme has not confirmed the date yet.
The company has written on the official website, ‘Realme 12 Pro Series 5G will arrive on XX January 2024. According to media reports, in the 12 Pro series, the company will launch 2 smartphones Realme 12 Pro 5G and Pro+ 5G. Realme has said that the upcoming smartphone series will have Sony IMX890 OIS sensor and periscope telephoto lens.
