Azerbaijan presents its tourism offer and its capacity to host international events at the China International Business Tourism Fair (China International MICE Exchange – CIMX 2026), which has started in Beijing.
According to AZERTACthe delegation is made up of the Azerbaijan Tourism Agency, three companies in the tourism sector and Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL).
The fair is specialized in tourism for meetings, incentives, congresses and exhibitions, known by the English acronym MICE. It brings together tourism organizations, professional buyers, event organizers, travel agencies and representatives of the airline sector from different countries.
Azerbaijani participation seeks to reinforce the country’s positioning as a destination for this segment, establish alliances in the Chinese market and expand commercial relations between tourism professionals from both nations.
During the meeting, the delegation presents the historical and cultural heritage of Azerbaijan, its tourist infrastructure, the hotel offer and the spaces available for conferences and events. It also presents proposals for corporate and incentive trips.
The Tourism Agency and the participating companies hold business meetings with representatives of the Chinese market to address the design of new tourism products, the attraction of corporate groups, the organization of international events and the possibilities of long-term cooperation.
