Roads surrounding South Philadelphia Sports Complex to temporarily close Sunday afternoon

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Drivers might have a hard time getting around South Philadelphia Sunday afternoon.

That’s because police are closing roads surrounding the Sports Complex from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

This is in an effort to clear the parking lots following the Eagles game.

This could mean delays for anyone going to see Olivia Rodrigo at the Xfinity Mobile Arena Sunday night.

Xfinity says even fans with pre-paid parking will not be allowed in during the closure period.

Anyone going to the game or concert is encouraged to take SEPTA’s Broad Street Line.
