To commemorate the upcoming launch of Grand Theft Auto VI, Rockstar Games has brought some of the series’ coolest exotic cars to life.
According to a press release, Rockstar Games partnered with Los Angeles shop West Coast Customs — which built a real-life version of the series’ Bravado Banshee in 2013 for GTA V —to build real versions of six of the game’s cars.
The lineup is the Grotti Cheetah, Pegassi Tempesta, Progen Emerus, Invetero Coquette, Albany Buccaneer, and Albany Manana. Each car came out with photos and its own backstory of stats and details, and they look very close to what’ll appear in the game.
According to a press release, each car “combines traditional metal fabrication with modern composite construction, using CNC machining to produce custom wheels and structural components.” They also each have custom paint finishes.
The cars were filmed driving around Miami for promotional photos. They wore Leonida plates with Vice City text and plate frames reading “VI,” “West Coast Customs,” and the Rockstar logo.
