ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
Asier Ferrer Samonete (Ferrer Couture): He began to enter the world of fashion as a child, making clothes with scraps from his grandmother and tutorials on the internet. At the age of 21, he decided to open his own haute couture workshop and organize shows like ‘Quimera’ in Gallipienzo, his hometown. His career demonstrates how it is possible to develop designer fashion outside of large international capitals, promoting local development and involving his neighbors in his creations.
Amaia Prieto Axotegi (Baku Barrikupel): From Zábal, a council of about 70 inhabitants, he founded Baku Barrikupel to reuse oak barrels discarded by Navarrese wineries and transform them into lighting and artisanal decoration objects. Its proposal combines the enhancement of local raw materials with international recognition, having been nominated for European awards. Green Product Award
Alejandro Jódar Serrano (Acuatro Burger): A 25-year-old chef trained in various kitchens, he decided to settle in the Old Town of Pamplona with the Acuatro Burger project. Its business model focuses on ultra-specialization in takeaway hamburgers (take away) of high quality, prioritizing artisanal ingredients and local suppliers over massive franchises
Alejandro Salinas Barrios (Romero DeModa / Licores DEMODA): A computer scientist by profession, he acquired and reopened the emblematic Romero nightclub in Lodosa together with his partner to avoid its definitive closure, revitalizing it with the ‘tardeo’ format and offering a space to musical talent in the area. In addition to reactivating local leisure, he diversified his entrepreneurial activity by creating the Licores DEMODA brand.
Marta Ester Emmanuel (Umame Maternity Training): Physiotherapist specialized in pelvic floor and maternal health, she went solo in 2022 to create a comprehensive maternity support center in Cordovilla. In her space, adapted for mothers to come with their babies, she has evolved from initial individual work to leading a team that serves more than 200 women in person and online
Xabier Catalán Ros and Nicolás Imízcoz García (Voltis Energía): Founders of Voltis Energía in Zizur, who devised the project during their university years. They promote a service focused on optimizing consumption and energy contracts through the intelligent use of data, moving from the first prospecting in small local businesses to the consolidation of larger contracts.
Marta González Sanz (Athena): After 12 years of professional career as an employee—the last ones advising entrepreneurs at CEIN—he took the step of setting up the consulting firm Atenea. As a mentor, she accompanies entrepreneurs focusing on real viability, mental health and the prevention of personal burnout, promoting spaces such as the “In the mud: unfiltered stories” meetings to demystify the fears of the self-employed sector.
