“This building provides a place where Soldiers can come and they can recover,” Henley said. “They can have a place that they can call home for the time that they’re here. It shows our commitment to our Soldiers, to American sons and daughters, and to our readiness as an Army force.”

For junior enlisted personnel moving from older barracks, the facility provides an immediate upgrade in living standards and communal areas. “I’m really grateful for the opportunity to be moving into a fresh barracks,” said Pfc. Lindsay Anderson, an aviation Soldier with the 4th Battalion, 2nd Aviation Regiment, 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade. “I’m happy that leadership put in the time and effort for all the enlisted Soldiers.”
