Talking about Physicswala share, on Thursday it jumped 10% to the level of Rs 140 as compared to the previous closing of Rs 127.45. Domestic brokerage Motilal Oswal Financial Services is bullish on this stock. The brokerage has maintained its ‘buy’ rating on Physicswala. ₹150 level important for shares
According to Gaurav Arora, Head of Research, SAHI, Physicswala shares are trading in the range of Rs 115-160 since July. Due to the rally after the quarterly results, the stock has reached around Rs 135-140 and has crossed its key exponential moving average (EMA). He said that the level of Rs 128-130 is immediate support for the stock. If it slips below this, the stock may fall to Rs 115-120.
At the same time, the range of Rs 143-150 is a strong resistance zone. Arora has cautioned investors not to get too excited after seeing more than double the increase in profits. In the test preparation business, admissions of new batches are more in the first half of the financial year. Therefore, maintaining such fast growth in the coming quarters may be a challenge for the company.
Physicswala’s strategy
Physicswala has slowed down the pace of opening new centers compared to the promise made at the time of its IPO. The company is now focusing more on improving the academic performance of the existing centers and their operating economics. The company opened 56 centers in the first half of FY 2027, while 128 centers were opened in the same period of FY 2026. The company says that this slow pace of expansion has been adopted deliberately and is part of a deliberate strategy, which includes smaller centres. Physicswala plans to open around 25-30 new centers every year in the next two years.
