Good morning! Hope you’re enjoying that extra hour.

Daylight Saving Time ended at 2:00 AM this morning across most of the country. (Daylight Saving. Not “Savings.” That’s a bank account.)

If you’re traveling today, your phone probably handled the change for you. The alarm clock in your hotel room? Maybe not.

Here’s a quick time-change reminder before you head to the airport, train station, cruise port, or bus station.

Six Delta Card Offers Hit Their Deadline Wednesday

Wednesday, November 4, is the scheduled end date for six limited-time Delta SkyMiles® American Express Card offers.

But this isn’t a case where I’d simply look for the biggest number and call it the “best” offer.

One requires a pretty serious amount of business spending. Another takes an entirely different approach to the usual pile-of-miles welcome offer. And with two of the personal cards, the big advertised number may not even be the offer you’re shown.

I went through all six, which I think you should look at, and — just as importantly — when I’d skip them.

If you’re considering a Delta Amex, here’s what I’d check before Wednesday.

(Terms apply to American Express benefits and offers. Enrollment may be required for select American Express benefits and offers. Visit americanexpress.com to learn more.)

I Really Want an Answer to This Airline Pricing Question

Have you ever wondered whether an airline knows enough about you to decide what price you should see for a ticket?

The FTC apparently wonders about that, too.

To be clear, nobody has proved Delta, United, or JetBlue is secretly charging individual customers different fares based on personal information. But the government is asking questions about their pricing practices — and I’m very interested to see the answers.

That’s only one item from Saturday’s travel-news pile. LAX managed to give us another reason to shake our heads, an airline is making quite a bit more money from its actual fares, and there’s an upcoming flight to Japan that sounds like torture to me.

See what else caught my attention in this week’s travel headlines.

In Case You Missed Them

A couple from earlier in the week:

Have a great Sunday — and enjoy the extra hour!

— Chris
